Emerald LAke Snowshoeing Hike

2-4 Hours | Beginner to INTERMEDIATE | 1-12 People

Emerald Lake is one of the most popular hikes in all of Colorado and for good reason - over the course of this hike you will pass by 4 glimmering frozen lakes, through dark pine forests and past precarious boulders to reach the namesake Emerald Lake nestled in the heart of the spectacular Tyndall Gorge. Your guide will meet you at your chosen start time (8 am or 1 pm recommended) at the agreed upon location, usually the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. After a short drive your guide will outfit your group with all the necessary equipment including snowshoes and trekking poles. After making sure everyone's gear is fitting properly you will be off! Along the way your guide will share with you some of the fascinating natural history of Rocky Mountain National Park. Snacks and hot drinks are included on this hike!
